We are Uwharrie Community Service a proud host site for @Atrium Health’s Care
Everywhere mobile family medicine unit. Like a doctor’s office on wheels, these
mobile medicine units are staffed with experienced medical professionals and
welcome patients ages 2 and up. No appointment or pre-registration needed.
Need help but can’t pay? The care team on the mobile units also helps
patients navigate Atrium Health resources that assist in their ability to pay
for services.

West Badin is a community rich in African American history. Uwharrie Community Service Development Network strives to keep this community as well as the greater Uwharrie Region together. The Isiah Westbrook Community Center serves as the last original commercial structure in the West Badin Community. We host a variety of events and programs that serve everyone in the surrounding counties of, Montgomery, Stanly and Cabarrus counties
What We Do
Oakview Cemetery is one of the oldest African American Cemeteries in the area. Although we intern people of all races in this cemetery we take pride in it’s upkeep
